About a year ago, I challenged myself to write every single day. I've been a writer my whole life and found that I was missing that being a regular part of my life. This is not new information, but to become better at something you love to do, you have to practice. So, in order to become a better writer, I wanted to make myself practice writing. It didn't matter if I just wrote one sentence of absolute nonsense for that day, all that mattered was that I was creating something. After a while, I started to rediscover my love for writing poetry, and I've been writing it every day since.
I wanted to share my poetry on the blog in different collections every other week. My words are personal to me and feel like a part of me that I'm sharing with you all. But, I find, that words are best shared, rather than kept to oneself--that's when they truly come alive.
I wanted to bring my words to life.
