For me, 2013 was a different year. That's the best word I can describe it with. Many, many great things happened and a few very tragic things happened. Regardless, I'm excited for 2014 and all it will bring. One awesome thing that happened in 2013 was that I got a Wacom tablet. Basically, this tablet allows me to draw on it while it shows up on my laptop screen. Below, my year in review, I used it to add some detail. It's my first official publication with my handwriting, and I'm not quite used to the tablet, but I love it. So, here was my year, one picture a month:
I ended 2012 with many of my best friends. We went ice skating and hung out in my basement. It was the best time I could ask for.
January: I celebrate my 23rd birthday in true form - eating sushi with my family and friends. Shown here: Bridget and Alyssa.
February: I don't remember if this photograph is from Valentine's Day, but based on Tessa and my outfits, I have a sneaky suspicion it was.
March: Saw Les Misérables performed live at Bridget's brother Joey's high school. It was amazing.
April: Took some disposable camera photographs with my friend and fellow-Beemo-lover, Patrick.
May: WE GRADUATED FROM COLLEGE WHHHAAAATTTT! Pictured here, three of my best friends in college, Molly, Lb and Jeremy.
June: This wasn't the best month. I did visit the camp I worked four summers at, which was awesome. But, I had to say goodbye to a very special person this month - my grandma.
July/August: I spent these two months (and June) living and internshipping with Face Forward in Minneapolis. It was a remarkable internship. I was the blogging intern and was sent to two music festivals for free! Pictured above: Project Earth and Summerset.
September: Kaitlyn and I ventured to Illinois to visit the wonderful Tenley. :)
October: Another hard month. Had to say farewell to my favorite pup, Sydney. On a happier note, my friend Allie got married and her wedding was spectacular. The first picture of the five of us is from 2009. The second, 2013.
November: This month, we launched our first zine! We are still currently working on it. We're having a blast and can't wait to share it with you.
December: I ended my year with friends from high school at my friend Tony's 25th birthday party.
Here's to 2014. May it bring happiness to you.
