Introducing....!

We are so excited to announce the start of our virtual book club! We've teamed up with the lovely Hollis over at Fox and Rook to bring you an interactive social reading experience!

How it works: Each month, one of the three of us will choose a book to read! Based on the number of pages, we'll usually spend about 3-4 weeks reading the book. Each Friday, we'll start a conversation about what we've read so far and possibly focus on one theme/aspect of the novel. Every post can be found by clicking our button on the right side of our page. But this book club isn't just for the three of us!

Where you come in: We'd love you to read along with us, that's what a book club is, after all! If you do decide to read with us, we want to hear your thoughts either in the form of comments on our posts, or in your own blog post. Be sure to tag your post with "Forest Friends Book Club" so we can find it, or ping us back!

And now for the most important part:boooookThese past few months, we've fallen madly in love with Rainbow Rowell. We've both read (devoured) her other two novels, Fangirl and Eleanor & Park. We're excited to read this one because, unlike the other two, it is an adult novel. Her writing is fantastic and so relatable, and we're looking forward to seeing it translated into non-YA.

How to participate: We'll start reading this book next Friday, so that gives you a week to get your hands on it. Kaitlyn got her copy at the local library, and Sarah snagged hers for real cheap at a used book store. You could also order it online, buy it in store, or for an e-reader.

We're so excited to start this book club and hope you'll join us along the way! Let us know if you're planning on reading. If you are, grab our button in our sidebar for your page! Questions? Ask in the comments!
